Andy,

All rear drive cars have a tail in the wet, the Ferrari will not bite you unless your being careless with it, if the tail steps out when you apply too much throttle then just lift slightly, the tail will happily step back in line - or you can keep your toe in and enjoy the ride The Ferrari is not set up for wet weather performance, its a light weight supercar not a 4 wheel drive turbo monster. However I have driven them in some pretty horrific weather, snow - which is hard work, very heavy rain on motorway and poor b roads and as long as your driving alert I've never had an issue. A bit of practice would probably help you relax a bit.

F-cars are easy peasey in the wet, careful use of the throttle is required as with any car when adjusting to weather conditons.

How old are your tyres? Maybe they've gone off - I'd say if they're four years old you should bin them & put a new set on, even if the tread is still deep.

I only have limited experience of driving my 360 in the wet so far. On the way back from picking it up I drove 100+ motorway miles through the worst rain I'd ever seen in this country & I was very pleased with the way the car coped.

oversteer isnt the problem, its understeer, i.e going into a corner and just sliding threw it, no grip at all, might need to get the geomtry checked.

to be fair my other car is an evo so im probably expecting to much!

As a driver who uses his Ferraris in all weather,I can talk from experience, that I changed the tyres on two of them,328 and 456,and the handling in the wet was so much better, there was loads of tread left on both sets and they were changed due to age ( 5 years ).Bridgestone seem to suit my cars in the wet the best.

Andy, I think it's just one of these things that you need to get used to and a case of getting to know the cars limits, unless you start tweaking it, I kind of like the challenge and as Richard says, they are great fun in the wet
ps.large roundabouts at 5am on a sunday morning are a blast

I find my 355 fairly predictable and, reatively, docile if you take it easy. I can certainly feel it squirming about at the rear under anything more than light throttle in a straight line though.

That said, I think I need new tyres all round on mine as others have suggested, through age. In fact I'm amazed at how many Ferraris you see with old, and hence rock hard, but still perfectly legal, tyres on them...
